Expenses for the whole year including Reunion 2000 2,511.69
Subtotal: 2,055.74

Motion was made to accept the Treasurer’s Report as read. This was seconded and carried.
Old Business – (None).
New Business:
Bones read letters and mentioned some phone calls he got from Company L members who were
not able to make it to the reunion. They all expressed their good wishes for the rest of us to enjoy the reunion.
Del Sturman announced that he would be available with his van to take any of us to the airport for our return flight on Sunday. Bones also asked if there was any objection to include in the Carrier printed information he has gotten regarding Betty Grable as a pin up girl during WWII and a Japanese Park being proposed by some councilmen of a city here in the states. This proposal has brought about a lot of objections from their local veterans who are asking for support from other veterans. No one objected to having it printed in the Carrier.
Dan Mansur started to pass the "hat" around. Chuck Hoffman and Dan Mansur later reported on the count of money collected. Cash and checks total to $ 710.00. (This amount will show
with next year’s donations)
Next order of business was next year’s reunion. No one volunteered to host it. Ted Verdugo suggested that we contact Maureen Wimsatt Pierce to see if she would host one at Louisville,
Kentucky where her dad, Joe Wimsatt, hosted one of our reunions. Ted said he would call her.
The ladies attending our reunion had Mary Pappas and Mary Jane Russ present a gift to Eva
Sturman and one to Donna Sturman for being our hostesses.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:45pm.
Respectfully submitted by,
Blas Lopez, Company L Secretary.
